The Secret Code for Active Citizenship project will have various results. Our main aim with the project is to help youngsters to understand better the concept of active citizenship in order to become valuable members of their communities. At the same time, through our project, we will provide youth workers with valuable, innovative educational tools – i.e., escape room kits, video tutorials on building educational escape rooms, and an active citizenship “Change Makers” training program – meant to improve their ability to train youngsters on topics related to active citizenship.

We are certain that, through our project, we will contribute to local communities as we will further improve the quality of active citizenship and youth training abilities in those communities, something that will have a multiplier effect across each community.

Meetings & Events

Transnational Partner Meetings

Transnational Partner Meetings

Within the project we will have 3 Transnational Partner meetings, where representatives of each partner Organisation will meet to discuss the project. We will work on the following:
1) FIRST MEETING to discuss the entire project and to plan all the activities.
2) SECOND MEETING presentation of the project activities already realised and planning next steps.
3) THIRD MEETING towards the end of the project to summarise the activities implemented.

Learning, Teaching and training Activities

Learning, Teaching and training Activities

We implemented two training courses, one “Escape Rooms Portable Toolkit”in Poland and one “Change Makers Academy” in Romania.
For the first training was focused on ideas, practices, and methods for building portable escape rooms, and the second on the topic of Active Citizeship. Both of the trainings empowered intercultural learning and sense of initiative in youth workers contacting with other cultures.

In-country Activities

In-country Activities

During the Training course “Change Makers Academy” in Romania, we designed activities dealing with topics related to active citizenship. We had a chance to test them with local Romanian youth back in Ploiesti, and after in our home countries, we implemented them in our local surroundings. The scenarios for these activities you can find in the “Change Makers Academy Program”.

Pilot tests in our communities

Pilot tests in our communities

We will apply th “Change Makers Academy” in the promotion of Active Citizenship with local youth. We will address subjects that we consider crucial in “life” as Human Rights, local and EU active participation, intercultural dialogue and social entrepreneurship. Simultaneous, transnational and local activities will occur as pilot tests of the innovative material.

Multiplier Events

Multiplier Events

We will organise local multiplier events in all participating countries in form of a seminar, being an important way of dissemination with the presentation of the project results and outputs. The aim is to engage a wider audience of youth workers, NGOs, Training Centres, Universities, policy makers and mobilize civil society on the issues of the Youth and Active Citizenship. The seminars serve as a local forum to share their findings and offer policy recommendations. They also provide a platform for outreach to policy makers, other stakeholders and the broader civil society.
